Power Mobility Services
  • Dedicated mobility staff - Two staff members whose daily responsibilities are servicing power mobility patients for ALL MED
  • We have a mobility specialist for customized fitting services, plus a power mobility technician for continues technical support and repair after product placement
  • We conduct a very thorough assessment at the patient's home. Prior to recommending a power product to the physician, we measure patients and assess their environment and daily routines to properly fit them in the right product that will maximize patient comfort and performance.
  • ALL MED maintains an inventory of 30 various power mobility products. This allows us to offer customers an immediate in-house product demonstration to ensure a proper fit and see how well the product will meet their needs with activities of daily living.

Reimbursement Requirements: The patient can no longer functionally ambulate or propel a manual wheelchair to care for themselves independently in their home. A thorough evaluation of the patient and their home environment must be done to ensure they receive the appropriate chair. In general, the same diagnosis apply that qualify a patient for a manual wheelchair. The evaluation (completed by an OT, PT, or physician) must show the patients has a neurological disorder, and/or has multiple debilitating diagnosis, and/or lacks the strength to propel a manual wheelchair and/or is compromised by chronic pain, and/or falls often, and/or doesn't have the pulmonary or cardiac function to independently perform activities of daily living, etc.
